Giving BetMGM a winning hand on Snapchat with a two-of-a-kind creative.
The Brief BetMGM sought to announce a new promotional offer for their online casino to their Snapchat audience. The goal was not only to communicate the offer effectively but also to demonstrate the excitement of the in-app games in a way that was engaging, human-centric, and native to the platform.
The "Why" / Creative Insight The dream of playing with house money is a powerful one. Our insight was that we could make this dream feel like an immediate reality by bringing the vibrant energy of the casino directly into the convenience of our audience's home.
Strategic Direction Using data-driven insights, I pitched and received approval for a split-screen creative strategy. This allowed us to showcase exciting in-app gameplay without losing the magic of the human element that resonates so strongly on Snapchat. By featuring a charismatic creator's reactions alongside the game, we capitalized on research proving that visible eyes and smiles dramatically increase engagement.
Results We created a series of dynamic split-screen videos that felt fun to watch, effectively communicated the promotional offer, and drove engagement by pairing the thrill of the game with a relatable human presence.
