How we reminded at-home professionals that DoorDash delivers more than just dinner.
The Brief DoorDash wanted to develop a campaign to re-engage seasoned users of their food delivery app. The main objective was to remind them of DoorDash's core value of convenience by highlighting its ability to solve the common, everyday challenges that at-home professionals face.
The "Why" / Creative Insight For busy at-home professionals, productivity is a fragile thing. It only takes one small, unexpected hurdle to derail an entire day. DoorDash isn't just a convenience; it's the ultimate productivity hack.
Strategic Direction My strategy was to re-engage seasoned users by framing DoorDash as the solution to everyday challenges. We used trending formats to highlight the platform's vast selection beyond just restaurant food. A key strategic element I mandated was the natural, unforced placement of the DoorDash bag in each video, building powerful brand recognition while maintaining the authenticity of a creator-led story.
Results The campaign produced engaging, relatable, and high-quality ads that authentically drove app installs and purchases by showing, not just telling, how DoorDash fits seamlessly into a productive life.
