Helping Friskies create the most purr-suasive game trailer of the year.

The Brief Friskies wanted a creative way to promote a new multi-stage AR game for cat lovers on Snapchat. Instead of a simple screen recording, they tasked us with leveraging the game itself to tell a compelling story and drive engagement.


The "Why" / Creative Insight An ad for an AR game shouldn't be a walkthrough; it should be a movie trailer. The goal is to tease the fun and persuade the user to click, not spoil the entire experience upfront.


Strategic Direction I approached the project as if we were creating a game trailer. My strategy involved editing together the most exciting, shortened clips from each stage of the game and overlaying a charismatic, creator-led voiceover. This built a quick, persuasive narrative designed to maximize curiosity and drive clicks to the AR lens.


Results The final creator-led videos were fun and charismatic, successfully driving Snapchat users to not only open and play the AR game but also to share the fun and engaging experience with their friends.
