Filing with confidence: A first-person tour of the new Keeper Tax.
The Brief Following a major rebrand, Keeper Tax needed a long-form video to serve as a comprehensive guide to their new desktop and mobile apps. The goal was to boost consideration ahead of tax season by clearly demonstrating the platform's ease of use for both complex and standard W2 filings, making users feel confident and prepared.
The "Why" / Creative Insight With a brand new interface, user confidence is everything. We knew the best way to build that confidence wasn't just to tell the audience the app was easy to use, but to make them feel like they had already used it themselves. Familiarity, even before the first download, would be the key to adoption.
Strategic Direction As the creative and production lead, I spearheaded this project from concept to completion, managing everything from casting and cinematography to editing and color grading. The core strategy was to blend high production value with the intimate, relatable feel of a POV-style video. I directed a first-person perspective walkthrough of both the desktop and mobile apps, creating a "hands-on" viewing experience that made the new interface feel intuitive and familiar from the very first watch.
Results The campaign delivered tangible results, driving a 30% boost in brand awareness for Keeper Tax. The engaging video successfully demonstrated the app's ease of use on both platforms, providing a powerful educational tool that built user trust ahead of tax season. The entire production was completed efficiently, on time and under budget.
